She specialised in childrens portraits, taken in Barcelona and Amsterdam, amongst other locations. Extremely low viewpoints characterised her work, and she favoured combining flash with daylight, a choice influenced by her tutor, Rineke Dijkstra, with whom she also worked as an assistant.
