I am not sure if these were originally there or have worn due to use

It has a lightly painted star design on the top and carved designs around the edge of the lid

The bow is marked Sterling and it is also signed 1930 Or 1130 F1. This basket measures 4 inches or 10cm tall and 3 1 2 inches or 9. 7cm in width. It is in great condition. It is quite heavy for its size and very well made.
